"Moving Art specialises in the transport of art works from the art gallery or artist to the customer. We also transport entire exhibitions to galleries and museums. All of our services are undertaken with a sense of respect for the client and the artwork, and conducted with professionalism and an eye on punctuality.
We operate from our base in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales and have a purpose-fitted, late model two tonne van which is fitted with soft ride suspension and artwork racking. Our Northern Rivers ‘territory’ includes Byron Bay, Mullumbimby, Bangalow, Lismore, Kyogle, Casino, Grafton, Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads.
Moving Art provides frequent, regular art courier services in southern Queensland and New South Wales, including Sydney, and a monthly route that takes in Melbourne and regional Victoria. We do not transport other goods with the art that we carry and Moving Art holds full marine insurance.
We also offer a hanging service for retail customers and are more than happy to help with the hanging and installation of art for galleries.
As the proprietor of Moving Art, I started this business because I genuinely enjoy art and meeting the people who make art possible. I have operated my own glass business specialising in supplying glass to the picture framing industry and transporting art works for galleries, so I am well aware of the care needed to transport your art.
